Lapta
The village and the coast
Lapta is an old village on the slopes of the Five Finger Mountains, running down to the sea, about 14 km west of Kyrenia.
From Lapida it is about 800 metres, an 8-minute walk, to the coast and the Lapta coastal walkway, good for an early walk in any season. The minibus (dolmuş) stops right in front of the hotel.

Kyrenia
Harbour, castle and the mountains
Kyrenia is a 15–20 minute drive. Its horseshoe harbour and castle are the centre of the region.
The hill village of Bellapais, with its abbey, and the mountain ruins of St Hilarion Castle are close by. Back at the hotel, end the day in the hammam or the garden.
